Fellowships

Fellowships

GLP’s fellowship program identifies and places high performing graduate students and professionals in opportunities to provide technical assistance to community-based, public and private sector organizations in Africa. The GLP Fellowship program provides a platform for fellows to learn, share, innovate, challenge, and experience business in Africa. Global Leadership Fellows take on the responsibility for the creation of policy, operational, tactical and strategic deliverables for governments, companies, civil society organizations, and international NGO’s in Africa.

Fellows can choose from several accommodations depending on the package they choose. We have the GLP house where other GLP members will be staying or a more private accommodation.

Cross-cultural training program: Global Leadership Fellows work closely with local university students as fellows build capacity among undergraduates and prepare them as they transition from campus life to a more corporate work environment. GLP fellows mentor and train students using GLP’s Leadership Skills Development curriculum covering topics such as resume building, financial modeling, business proposal development, leadership skills, successful interviewing skills, service plan development and HIV/AIDS prevention.
